Established in 2019, Edgar Lopez & Associates, LLC (ELA) is an advisory practice providing strategic analysis to clients in the San Francisco Bay Area on the delivery of complex capital projects. Edgar has over 30 years of experience directing the entitlement, design, and construction of a large portfolio of projects totaling over $5 billion.
As the former City Architect and Deputy Director of Public Works in San Francisco, Edgar has significant experience serving clients and managing teams of architects, project managers, landscape architects, and construction managers. He has extensive experience in the analysis of construction project delivery methodologies, project budgeting, entitlement, regulatory approvals, bidding & award of contracts, and deep understanding of local workforce concerns and solutions.
ELA’s current & past clients include Google, AECOM, County of San Mateo, Santa Clara County, Fengate Capital Management - Infrastructure, Webcor Builders Inc., TEF Architects, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, SamTrans and the Port of San Francisco.
