City Hall, known as the “crown jewel” of San Francisco’s Civic Center is considered one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture outside of France. In 1989 this magnificent building was damaged during the Loma Prieta earthquake. The scope of renovation included a full seismic retrofit, complete with base-isolators, infrastructure modernization, and extensive tenant improvements.
